After previously remixing and releasing for Steve Mac's sMACk imprint, the label welcomes back our good friend Reuben Keeney. Hailing from Donegal in Ireland, Keeney broke onto the DJ seen at a young age and climbed the ranks to the play some of the largest international superclubs. Inspired to hit the studio, Reuben set about creating his own brand of funky techno. A sound that has already won him releases and remix on labels including Audio Therapy, Spin Out, i-Fi and Fergie's digital imprint Monu Digital. Ensuring to keep his fan base catered for, Reuben now hosts his weekly show on international DI.FM. The lead track on this, the first of sMACk's releases of 2010 is 'Dance'. This is a sax led bouncy workout that, as the title suggests, will really wanna make the crowd, well, Dance! On the flip side is Unique. A groovy tech workout that uses elements of filter house and a cheeky vocal sample. Reuben has even sprinkled the track with a little Stardust.
